Sunshine Rehabilitation Services recognizes that timely and effective communication ensures the success of the individual's rehabilitation. Therefore, the client is contacted within 24 hours of receiving a referral and a visit is completed within 3 weeks of the referral. A report is completed within 7 days of the visit. Regular written reports and updates on the client's progress are maintained throughout the client's treatment.
Sunshine Rehabilitation Services has developed programs to meet the specific needs of clients who require assessment, treatment and education for acute or chronic injury.
The focus of our treatment programs is to provide a comfortable functional improvement to ensure return to a normal lifestyle at work, as well as at home. The programs involve personalized treatment, which are goal-oriented, time-limited and based on an active rehabilitation approach.

Our Team of Professionals
Occupational Therapists are skilled Regulated Health Professionals whose education included the study of human growth and development, with specific emphasis on the social, emotional and physiological effects of illness and injury. Occupational Therapists enter the field with a Bachelors, Masters or Doctoral degree. Occupational Therapists are governed by a regulatory College and they our bound by the Guidelines for Professional Practice of the College. Occupational Therapists are trained in assessment and treatment that helps individuals achieve independence in all facets of their lives. Occupational Therapy gives people the "skills for the job of living".
